Date fm が毎週日曜日に放送する防災ラジオ番組“Sunday Morning Wave”内のコーナー“GLOBAL TALK”（第２日曜日放送）。
SenTIAでは2005年11月よりGLOBAL TALKにご協力しています。

毎回、外国出身の市民らをゲストに迎え、パーソナリティの板橋さんが、日本での地震体験や備えなどについて話を聞きます。ゲストはこれまで200人以上になりました。
「防災」をキーワードにしながらも、ゲストの母国の話や、来日のきっかけなど、毎回楽しいトークが繰り広げられます。板橋さんに、コーナーを始めたきっかけや、印象に残っていることなどを伺いました。

GLOBAL TALK (broadcasted on the second Sunday of a month) is a corner within the weekly Sunday disaster prevention program Sunday Morning Wave operated by Date fm.

SenTIA has been cooperating with GLOBAL TALK since November 2005.

In every broadcast, foreign citizens of Sendai are brought onto the program as guests, while the program’s personality Ms. Itabashi asks them questions about their experiences with earthquakes in Japan and disaster preventions. The program has had over 200 guests over the years.

Besides from talking about disaster prevention, the guests also share information about their home country, their reasoning for coming to Japan, and more. In this video, we asked Ms. Itabashi about the reason why she started this program, and things that left an impression on her.

公益財団法人仙台観光国際協会（通称：SenTIA(せんてぃあ)）では、仙台市における多文化共生社会の推進を目的として「せんだい多文化まちづくりチャンネル」ウェブサイトを開設しました。

近年、さまざまな言語や文化を背景とする外国人住民の方々が増えており、互いに異なる文化を認め合いながら共生していく社会の実現が重要な課題になっています。

「せんだい多文化まちづくりチャンネル」は、「多文化」をキーワードに私たちのまち仙台を動画で紹介するプロジェクトです。動画を通じて、仙台は「多文化」が息づくまちであることを多くの市民の皆様に知っていただくとともに、そのような活動の輪が広がることを目的としています。

Sendai Multicultural Channel The Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association (SenTIA) created the “Sendai Multicultural Channel” website with the goal of promoting a multicultural society in Sendai. In recent years, with the increasing number of foreign residents with backgrounds featuring a diverse array languages and cultures, it has become an important issue to realize a society where citizens can coexist while mutually accepting the different cultures of others. The “Sendai Multicultural Channel” is a project where we introduce our City of Sendai using videos with the theme of “Multiculturalism.” We have the goal of informing as many citizens as possible about how Sendai is a city which lives and breathes “Multiculturalism,” in addition to expanding the extent of such activities even further though these videos.
